Got problems with your anti virus picking up SGLac as a threat? The following methods have been proven to solve problems in all cases...
Problems with AVG ?
Step one:

When you open up your AVG client (either from your start/programs area or from the system tray) you'll be faced with a screen like this. For users of AVG 7 - upgrade to AVG 8 now, it's still free. Double click the "RESIDENT SHIELD" icon.
Step Two:
You need to tell the AVG client to ignore the SGLac client. SO click on "MANAGE EXCEPTIONS" to be taken to the right section.
Step Three:
AVG needs to know where your SGLac installtion is located so click on add path
Step Four:
This will open a navigation panel where you will need to navigate to and highlight (a single click on the SGLac directory will highlight the location) Obvisouly you then need to click on the "OK" button.
Step Five:
You will now have the directory location listed in your exceptions panel. At this point you must click "APPLY" to save the changes, then click on "OK". The "MANAGE EXCEPTIONS" panel will close and you'll be back at the first screen. You can safely close the AVG window now.
To be sure all the files are in place you should now perform a reinstall of SGLac into the sme directory. This will now hopefully have eliminated any problems you may have been experiencing with AVG and SGLac.
Problems with Avast ?
In exactly the same way as AVG you can exclude the SGLac directory from the attentions of the AVAST av system...
Step One:
Open the main options menu.
Step Two:

Go to the settings sub menu.
Step Three:
Go the exclusions panel. Here is where you tell AVAST what directories to ignore. Then hit the "BROWSE" button.
Step Four:
Navigate to your SGLac installation diretory and place a tick in the main folder. This will replicate down through it's subfolders. Then click on "OK"
Returning to the exclusions panel you should now see the SGLac directory listed. Simply hit "OK" and you can exit the program. To complete the process reinstall SGLac to the same directory you just specified. All done.
