TMNF : SGL GP #3 - TONIGHT

  Grand Prix tonight as the build up to a fully prize sponsored TMNF season continues. No doubt the ever rapid dudes - Darky and Nemesis will be out to conduct their own personal battle once more but the search is on to find an SGL member who can live with their sheer speed. Theres tens of thousands of you registered - surely someone is up to the task at hand ?

Tonight from 8pm using the rounds based system thats going to make my lie easier and your evenings racing a hell of a lot smoother we bring you a five track (got to stop thinking of them as "maps") Grand Prix bonanza...

The five maps will be
  • ESWC-04-02.Challenge,
  • ESWC-04-03.Challenge
  • ESWC-04-04.Challenge
  • ESWC-04-05.Challenge
  • ESWC-04-06.Challenge
The server is of course running these tracks in rotation and has been doing so since last Tuesday. So if you feel in need of a little last minute practice then don't delay!

The rounds system in a nutshell : Each track will be raced  on a single lap. If you hit respawn (default- backspace) your race is over and you will be retired for that lap. You can still hit (default : enter) to put yu back on the track if you come off however. Each lap will award points to the players finishign in teh top places. Laps will be repeated until one driver has scored 32 points (or more) and the server will move onto the next track. The player with the highest total of points for the five map cycle will be the winner!

Much easier I think you'll agree! See you tonight from 8 in our new IRC home of #theSGL.trackmania and don't forget to add your Trackmania account name to your profiles so I a clue as to who is who in game!
