GHIII : Powerchord I

  It's summer so why not introduce a little fun to the proceedings in the shape of Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock. After pwning one of the other admins last night "old man" Uzi decided that everyone else should be given the same opportunity to show off their finger dexterity and co ordination.

Enter the idea of a cup based around Guitar Hero III then. As one of the most popular games out there I'm hoping it wont be too hard to fill up a suxteen player cup to take place on Tuesday 22nd July from 9pm. With the short amount of time it takes to actually play a Pro Face Off match we could well be done by 10pm. Now - that's my kind of cup!

There are as usual a few facts you will need to check off your list to make sure you are able to play namely :
  • An XBOX360 with internet connection.
  • XBOX Live Gold account (to allow pvp).
  • A copy of Guitar Hero III.
  • Some fingers.
If you fulfill those three criteria then you are able to take part. Matches will be best of three tracks and teh difficulty will be set to HARD. Why not expert you ask ? Simply not everyone can play at that level and we want to start things off with as many people playing as possible. The odds are if you can't manage to play EXPERT then you wont 100% all the songs on HARD either. Being that is the case then the better players are going to get more points anyway - and if you dont - then SHAME ON YOU!

Registration is open now so get yourself signed up, if this proves to be popular we could do it regularly. One last thing - ensure you enter your XBOX Live Gamertag into your profile so we know who we are dealing with!

When you apply - list your skill level MED/HIGH/EXPERT in your "reason for app" box. I dont want to set this too high and stop people playing. I'll base the rule on skill setting around what people who apply say.

if oyu look at my profile , we are adding support for the gamer tags , if you have a ps3/wii version of this get me the details please..... eg xbox gives you a html code to paste in to make it work and siplay , (you cnt add it though as we dont let you add code to teh site sorry)
