	Since your favourite admins (no not ^Merlin!) have been re-enacting the duellling banjos scene from deliverance over the past couple of weeks we thought we might see how we fared against a wider section of theSGL (badly I expect!). We have had around sixteen players sign up for tonight's riff fest though expereinc tells us we will be lucky if they all shwo up. If you want to take part just join #theSGL.guitarhero before 8pm tonight. All we require is that you meet the set of criteria below and that you have added your XBOX Live account name to your SGL profile page. Each match will be a best of three contest. If you're not 100% sure about that - you choose a song , your opponent chooses a song and if all ends up tied after that then the game will choose the third song for you. If you would be good enough to record your points total for each song (and the song titles themselves of course) it will really help when setting the level of play for any future cups we may hold (and admit it, it would be nice to have your score entered as 129,768 vs 118,482 instead of "2-1" wouldn't it ? There are as usual a few facts you will need to check off your list to make sure you are able to play namely : An XBOX360 with internet connection. XBOX Live Gold account (to allow pvp). A copy of Guitar Hero III. Some fingers. If you fulfill those three criteria then you are able to take part. Matches will be best of three tracks and teh difficulty will be set to HARD. Why not expert you ask ? Simply not everyone can play at that level and we want to start things off with as many people playing as possible. The odds are if you can't manage to play EXPERT then you wont 100% all the songs on HARD either. Being that is the case then the better players are going to get more points anyway - and if you dont - then SHAME ON YOU! Registration has officially closed, but if you want to play just join #theSGL.guitarhero, if this proves to be popular we could do it regularly. One last thing - ensure you enter your XBOX Live Gamertag into your profile so we know who we are dealing with!
